Surprise Bag for Charity....

I've been tossing around different ideas to give the surprise bag purpose (over and above for my twisted amusement). After doing a bit of research on various charities I've decided to donate all proceeds raised from the auction to Inn From the Cold.

Why this Charity? Well...homelessness seems to be a growing problem (all over north america) and my thoughts go out to the families who are stuck on the streets with no place to go (especially during the holidays). This organization houses and feeds up to 65 people (families) all year round. Families are bussed to various churches for the night and are given beds and food. Basically helping families who are stuck and have no place to go.

*note: This auction has no direct link to the inn from the cold organization. This is simply something I'm doing myself. Any questions please post them on this blog or you can email me at richwilliams43 at hotmail.com

Well we have a winner and the surprise bag is on route!

as for the delay in this? due to various events this had to be put aside until now.

future auctions should not take this long to complete.

for those who have emailed me in anticipation and others who want to know 'what the heck?'

the bag is on it's way. the winner is to be the first to know (hopefully by tomorrow night)

Today is the second day of the surprise bag auction. There have been 4 bids over night which have come from two ebayers. Currently at 50 cents. (pretty sure 'ebayers' is not a standard label for ebay users but I like it!)

I've decided to interview the winner of the auction and post it on this blog (this is if the winner complies) -- it will be anonymous if requested or not.

I've been getting questions asking me what's in the bag. All I've been telling people is that 'it is something and it will be a big surprise'
